Home Tours

Dwell Home Tours allow design seekers to immerse themselves in “Dwell-like” domestic spaces. These unique homes are specially selected by Dwell to reflect the rich diversity of livable, innovative modern architecture and design found throughout Los Angeles. Join Dwell for what promises to be two-nights-and-three-days full of interesting architecture and people, during the Dwell Home Tours, June 19, 25-26.

Prius Ride and Drive

The hybrid that started it all just got a lot more stylish and aggressive. It has a sleek, aerodynamic design, modern interior and exhilarating driving dynamics. Plus, we gave it advanced safety features to help you keep an eye on the road. And, of course, it wouldn't be a Prius without improved, class-leading fuel efficiency.

Prime Edition

Buy direct from studio-based designers and artists who produce custom, one-of-a-kind, and limited-edition works of art. Set amid a gallery-like area directly on the show floor, this “show-within-a-show” offers a unique platform for designer-makers, industrial designers and artists to showcase their work.

Modern Family Pavilion

Designed and curated with modern makings in mind, the Modern Family Pavilion offers innovative architecture and design solutions that address the needs, configurations, and challenges that make a house a home.

Designers & Books Fair

The Dwell Store has been replaced with the Dwell on Design Designers and Books Fair in an effort to emphasize the importance of book culture in the design world. In addition to offering books about architecture and design for purchase, the Fair, which will be located adjacent to the Main Stage, will host a book signing by Mr. Sou Fujimoto directly following the keynote on Friday, June 24th.

Dwell Outdoor

Dwell Outdoor—a 30,000 sq. ft. showcase featuring contemporary outdoor furnishings and prefab buildings—is designed to transport attendees to an innovative outdoor setting, and has been a favorite stop on the show floor since its inception in 2008.

This year at Dwell on Design LA, 3 full-scale prefab homes and 2 converted shipping containers will feature an array of furnishings to create an exciting and eye-catching experience. Located in the Dwell Outdoor area of the show floor, the 2016 prefabs are a must-see.
